Correction to 10/31 City Council story
In the coverage of the City of Katy city council meeting on October 28, which appeared on the front page of the October 31, 2024, edition of the Katy Times, there was an error in describing area traffic generators located near the proposed “Green at Katy Park” planned development district. The story incorrectly stated that the baseball fields at Katy Park on Franz Road draw over 600,000 visitors to the area annually, the but the actual number presented to city council by developer Jeff Read of Read King is 522,200 visitors per year. The Times regrets the error.
