Justine Parazynski Stott, 75, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022. She was a resident of Katy, Texas for the last 24 years. Born and raised in Clifton Park, New York, Justine attended Shenendehowa High School. She was a homemaker and cherished being a mom to her three children. She loved staying busy with kid’s activities, friends, day trips, church, and crafts. She loved music, nature, and animals, especially cute ones. Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey and a log cabin at Lake Minerva in the Adirondack Mountains were two of her favorite places to visit. Super friendly and caring, Justine made friends wherever she went. Later in life she attended classes for nursing school and worked at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. She loved to help people. Justine became a grandmother (Nana) in 1997 and that was one of the highlights of her life. She loved all three of her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them and watching them grow.

Due to chronic illness, Justine retired early from her job as a medical office manager which she enjoyed and was very proud of. She spent 12+ years in an independent living community and enjoyed church, bible study, crafts, shopping, and countless games of Rummikub. Her last two years were spent in a nursing home where she served as Resident Council, led bible study, and enjoyed weekly games of Bingo, spending her bingo bucks at the Country Store.

Justine was a born again Christian and had a mission to share Jesus with others. She was active in church and participated in various ministries, most notably prison ministry. Justine had a near death experience at age 21 that impacted her for the rest of her life. She shared it with many people and eventually put it in writing for others to read about. For the last several years Pentecostals of West Houston (POWH) was her church home.

She is survived by her three children, Leigh Spencer of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Leslie Adams of Katy, Texas, and Derek Stott of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Molly Adams, Jenna Adams, and Maxwell Stott; sisters Natalie Czerw of Orange City, Florida and Diana Guy and husband Bill of Deltona, Florida; nieces Dawn Rourke, Suzanne Bohrer, Debbie Jamro, and nephew Brian Edwards. She is predeceased by her parents, Jean Zadrozny and Stanley Parazynski, and nephew Jerry Maxwell.

A memorial service will be held at Pentecostals of West Houston (POWH) located at 6689 Barker Cypress Road, Houston, Texas 77084 on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 5:00p.m. There will also be a ceremony in June 2023 in Minerva, New York to lay her to rest. All are invited. Please contact the family for details to attend.

A special thanks to Hospice Plus and Mason Creek Transitional Care for all the love and care these past two years.
