Katy Cares’ annual fundraising gala is set for September 27

Break out your boots and bling for the eighth annual gala for Katy Cares starting at 6 p.m. on September 27 at Beckendorff Farms, 28533 Morton Road in Katy. Enjoy mouth-watering BBQ and other delicious cuisines, signature starters, desserts, wine and beer – a culinary experience you won’t want to miss! Dance to the upbeat vibe of Nowhere But Up, featuring top 40 songs, country, pop, rock, R&B, disco and Tejano. Katy Cares is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2016 as a solution-driven response to the community’s most vulnerable population – single-parent families who are victims of trauma due to a life-altering event such as separation, divorce, abuse, intimidation, domestic violence, financial challenge caused by loss of employment, income, child support, and/or a natural disaster.
