Katy and Jordan stayed at No. 13 and No. 20 in the latest Dave Campbell Texas Football Rankings, with Katy remaining at its current rank for the third straight week and Jordan staying put for the first time since they have been ranked.

Katy, Jordan stay put in latest Dave Campbell Rankings

Katy and Jordan stayed at No. 13 and No. 20 in the latest Dave Campbell Texas Football Rankings, with Katy remaining at its current rank for the third straight week and Jordan staying put for the first time since they have been ranked.

Katy comes off a big 45-0 shutout win over Taylor, improving to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in district in the process. Katy has been dominant since district started, allowing just 14 points and earning back to back shutouts while scoring 193 points in its last four games.
Jordan meanwhile, remained at No. 20 for the second straight week after a hard fought win over Seven Lakes. It was a close game until the fourth quarter, when Jordan pulled away with two touchdowns to win 28-14. In the process, Jordan remained unbeaten both in district and on the season, moving to 7-0 overall and 5-0 in district play. The Warriors have been dominant since district began, scoring 178 points while allowing just 61 points through their last five games.

Katy and Jordan face off 7 p.m. Friday at Rhodes Stadium with the mover staying in at least a share of first place in district, the winner will move into at least a share of first place in district as both teams try to get closer to a district title.
