The accolades keep pouring in for Seven Lakes’ Aidan Morrison.
The senior midfielder earned another honor this week, being named the Texas High School Super Elite Boys Socer Team’s Class 6A MVP after helping lead the Spartans to a state title in his final high school season.
Morrison was joined in his accolades by two teammates, Kortay Koc was named the Class 6A Midfielder of the Year and Ben Aviles Vera was named the Goalkeeper of the Year. They were all part of a team that clinched a district championship before going on to win the Region III-6A Title for the third straight season and a state title for the second straight year.
They were joined by Cinco Ranch senior Ossian Elgstrom, who was named to the team as a defender after helping the Cougars finish second in district and reach the regional final and Jordan’s Marcelo Ojeda, who made the the team as a midfielder after his junior year where he helped the Warriors finish fourth in district and reach the regional quarterfinals.
