Morton Ranch and the Houston Texans have come together to celebrate the signing of Danielle Hunter during the Texans game on Oct. 27, with the Texans making that Sunday Morton Ranch High School Day as people from the school will come out to watch the 2012 graduate compete.
The team will celebrate Morton Ranch at the game and Hunter’s return to Houston after signing with the team this spring.
Hunter was a force to be reckoned with at Morton Ranch, earning his status as a four star prospect after a tremendous career where he had 108 total tackles and over his junior and senior season posted 11 sacks over his junior and senior season. He has parlayed that into a nine year NFL career where he has become one of the premier pass rushers at the defensive end position.
So far this season, Hunter has seven tackles, four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and one pass deflected. He comes off a game where he had a sack and forced fumble against New England. The Texans will face the Indianapolis Colts on the 27th, with the game starting at noon.
