Schools hold town pep rallies as school year begins
While Katy held its town pep rally Monday, the other Katy ISD high schools have in some cases held their pep rallies, with others scheduled in upcoming weeks.
Tompkins held its town pep rally Aug. 10, and Jordan Aug. 11, on their respective campuses. Cinco Ranch was scheduled to hold its pep rally Wednesday evening at Cinco Ranch Cougar Stadium.
Here are the times, dates and locations for the town pep rallies for the other Katy ISD high schools:
- Paetow: 7 p.m. Friday, Paetow Panther Stadium.
- Mayde Creek: 7 p.m. Monday at Mayde Creek Ram Stadium.
- Taylor: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor Gym 2.
- Morton Ranch: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 24 at Morton Ranch Maverick Stadium.
Seven Lakes will hold its town pep rally Oct. 12 with its homecoming parade.
Meanwhile, Royal ISD held its convocation, welcoming faculty back to campus Aug. 10.
