‘Relay for Life’ returns to Katy on March 22, celebrates 40th year of fighting cancer

Relay for Life, the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, will stage its local event on March 22 at Katy City Park, 5720 Franz Road in Katy, from 4 to 9 p.m. The relay features special laps recognizing survivors and caregivers, as well as a moving luminaria ceremony honoring survivors and those lost to cancer. Epiphany Catholic School Announces 2025 Gala on March 22

Epiphany Catholic School will host its annual gala on March 22, inviting guests to follow the yellow brick road to “Epiphany’s Emerald City” from 6-10 p.m. at Ashton Gardens West Houston. The gala serves as a major fundraiser for the school, with all proceeds benefiting the school’s operating costs while also funding projects and endeavors which enhance Epiphany’s mission and vision. The evening includes a cocktail hour featuring signature event cocktails, dinner, wine pull, silent and live auctions, and dancing. Spring community campout scheduled for March 25-26

Pack your tent and sleeping bags for a night of free family fun including an outdoor movie, activities, dinner, s'mores, and a light breakfast, all courtesy of the City of Katy’s Parks and Recreation Department. Set-up begins Friday at 4 p.m. at VFW Park, 6202 George Bush Drive in Katy, and camp breaks by 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
