Are you ready to recognize your favorite businesses in the greater Katy area?

It’s time to nominate your favorites – in more than 148 categories – to be honored as the “Best of Katy.”

The popular readers choice awards program is making a comeback after a three-year absence, revived through a partnership between the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce and the Katy Times. The program returns with new categories and a streamlined process for nominations and voting.

Nominations opened April 16 on the program website at bestofkaty.org. Check for your favorites and claim the nomination for your business. All nominations and voting will take place online. There is no cost to participate.

Timeline of Events:

· Nominations open: April 16th - May 21st

· Voting opens: April 23rd - May 30th

· Winners announced: Monday, June 2nd

· Annual “Best of Katy” results published in the Katy Times: June 26

· Best of Katy recognition event: Thursday, June 26 at The Katy Beer Garden, 5345 Third Street in Katy
