The Stan C. Stanley Eagle Leadership and Economic Development Award was given jointly to outgoing Katy Area Economic Development Council President Lance LaCour and Frank Lombard at the Oct. 19 Katy Area EDC meeting.
“Katy Area EDC and all of its members extend a heartfelt thanks to both men for all they have given to our organization,” said Katy Area EDC Board Chair Rick Lawler.
Lombard has served the Katy Area EDC in a variety of roles from 2004 to 2016, according to a Katy Area EDC press release. LaCour has been with the organization since 2005 as its president and CEO and will be leaving for a new role with Partnership Lake Houston in the near future.
The Stan C. Stanley award honors volunteers and elected officials in the Katy area that make significant contributions to economic development and community leadership.
