The Katy Public Works Department said Tuesday afternoon that water service has been restored following an interruption for residents and businesses in the area of FM 1463 south of I-10.
A Texas Department of Transportation contractor working on the FM1463 expansion project hit a city water main to cause the interruption, the city said.
Katy water crews went onsite and worked with the contractor to repair the line.
