FBCSO holding Katy area teen on family violence and racial vandalism incidents
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dominic Reale, 18, on June 3 in relation to more than a dozen calls regarding 16 vehicles spray painted with racial slurs and graphic drawings in the 6900-7000 blocks of Pembrough Lane. Reale has been charged with felony graffiti for spray painting racial slurs, graphic drawings and the phrase “Be Gone” on vehicles near Pembrough’s intersection with Glen Rosa Drive in the Katy area.
“If this individual thought he would get away with spreading hate in Fort Bend County, he was wrong,” Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls said. “I am proud of the diverse community we serve and will never tolerate this kind of behavior.”
Reale could face additional hate crime charges, according to a FBCSO press release. His bond has been set at $5,000.
Reale was already in the Fort Bend County Jail in connection with a family violence investigation from June 6, a spokesperson for the FBCSO said.
