Katy ISD had two teams reach the regional quarterfinals on both the boys and girls side and had three team on both the girls and boys side win playoff games and it showed in the all-state selections. more
Mayde Creek’s Simone Ballard led the way, running to two gold medals in the hurdles, while Tompkins’ Matthew Kumar and Seven Lakes’ Matthew Rueff took home gold in the long jump and shot put respectively. more
