“I was super proud of our defense tonight. They executed the plan really well against a good team. Cinco puts a lot of stress on you and runs the ball efficiently while stretching the field with the pass game. So to be able to slow that down and take some of that away from them was very rewarding.” more
“A big part of this is that we are finally getting healthy,” said Taylor head coach Chad Simmons. “Added to that, on both sides of the ball we are continuing to grow and improve. We just keep getting better as the year goes on and I think that showed in the performance tonight." more

The student, was a member of the subvarsity football team, he was honored after his death on Thursday. He was riding his bike to school when he was struck and killed by a vehicle in a crosswalk. more
“The offensive line was amazing today and they were locked in all week,” Blocker said. “They’re just such a good unit and I love those guys. They’ve made me look really good this year and I just have to give them their kudos because those guys deserve it.” more
