Dr. Marc Milstein, brain researcher and author of “The Age-Proof Brain,” addresses attendees at Amazing Place’s 30th anniversary gala at Beckendorff Farms, 28533 Morton Road in Katy, on April 23. Amazing Place was founded in 1996 by Katy native Rev. Dan Robinson at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church is Houston. The nonprofit seeks to empower families affected by dementia and to promote brain health education. Amazing Place doubled its capacity when it opened its second location in 2025, based at 621 Circle deMatel in Houston, near the intersection of S. Fry and Kingsland.
