Latonia Moore was the keynote speaker celebrating Black History Month, held at the Hangar Unity Center, 4010 Fourth Street in Brookshire, on February 22. Moore, a Brookshire native, served in the Armed Forces for eight years. Her service extends to the federal government where she worked in finance and administration. Moore is a pastor in San Antonio, where she resides with her husband of 36 years.
