The City of Katy is now accepting applications for several boards and commissions, according to a March 31 post on its Facebook page.
Mayor Pro Tem Chris Harris confirmed to the Katy Times that the city is still seeking residents to serve on the following: • City Planning & Zoning Commission - https://bit.ly/pnzapplication • Zoning Board of Adjustment - https://bit.ly/zboaapplication • Building & Standards Commission - https://bit.ly/basapplication
“These roles play a direct part in guiding growth, development, and the future of our community,” according to the original post.
Applicants must live within Katy city limits to apply. Check to see if you reside within the city limits by going to www.cityofkaty.com/am-i-a-resident.
