Daniel Wong sworn in as interim Fort Bend County judge
Daniel Wong (left) is sworn in by Judge Dean Hrbacek (far right) as the temporary county judge for Fort Bend County during ceremonies held at the Fort Bend County Historic Court House, 401 Jackson Street, Richmond, on April 13. Wong, who was already running for the position as the Republican nominee, was named by Judge Jeth Jones to replace ousted judge KP George, who was recently convicted on money laundering charges. Jones, a Republican from Galveston County's 122nd District Court, issued the ruling April 10, which took effect immediately, while sitting as a visiting judge in Fort Bend County's 400th District Court.
