Harris and Fort Bend counties celebrate International Women’s Day with special events
Fort Bend County Judge KP George (left) welcomed a panel of distinguished speakers to the International Women’s Day luncheon hosted by the county on March 27 at Houston Community College’s Stafford campus at 9910 Cash Road. Presenters were (left to right): Yvonne Guidry, creative director of Spoiled Latina; Lindsey Munoz, who handles public policy for Whitemire & Munoz LLC; Mariam Akhani, a top financial executive for a local oil and gas company; Angelique Bartholomew, business development director for Intuitive Global Consulting; and Barbara Joe, director of operations for the Asian Chamber of Commerce. The event was held in partnership with the Houston Chapter of UNA-USA.
