HCC increases efforts to engage alumni
Remmele Young, Houston City College Chancellor for Governmental & External Affairs and Transfer and Alumni Relations, gives an update on plans to strengthen the school’s alumni association during the college’s Community Partnership meeting on April 28 at the West Houston Institute, 2811 Hayes Road in Houston. Young said that alumni associations unite graduates across generations, strengthen lifelong relationships between the college and its alumni, celebrate alumni achievements and shared pride and create a formal network to support students, alumni and the institution. Young was joined by HCC NW President Zachary Hodges and HCC Chancellor Margaret Ford Fisher and other staff members to provide an update on the college’s course offerings, expansion plans and partnership opportunities.
