Pride filled campuses across Katy ISD as student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to compete at the collegiate level, marking another standout achievement for the district’s highly respected athletics programs, the district announced in a November 14 press release.

Athletes representing basketball, football, soccer, golf, softball, baseball, volleyball, wrestling and cross-country secured opportunities to advance their academic and athletic careers with universities and colleges across the nation. Many will join prominent NCAA programs known for competitive success and strong athletic traditions.

“Today’s signees have shown tremendous dedication and resilience,” Katy ISD Executive Director of Athletics Lance Carter said. “Earning the chance to compete at the next level is a major milestone. We are excited to watch them grow as leaders and continue to make Katy ISD proud.”

“Signing Day” celebrated both the athletic excellence and the commitment these students have shown in the classroom, in training and in representing their campuses with integrity.
