Katy Responds announced April 15 that Eliza Willhoit has joined the local nonprofit, serving as Communications Coordinator. Willhoit will create and distribute correspondence, creating the monthly newsletter, and working with organizational administrative software.

“The most rewarding aspect of working with Katy Responds is the opportunity to meet clients and witness firsthand how God is actively working through our organization,” said Willhoit.

Willhoit was born in Texas and has lived in the Katy area most of her life and is currently continuing her education at the University of Houston-Victoria in Katy.

Katy Responds began operations in 2018 and the mission is to be the hands and feet of Christ by partnering with volunteers and stewarding resources to create a safe and secure home for vulnerable seniors and low-income families, the organization said in the announcement.
