On June 11 the Rotary Club of Katy presented a $5,000 grant to the Texas Fire Fighters Home — funded by the proceeds of Wild West Brewfest 2026. The Texas Fire Fighters Home provides a safe, comfortable, and supportive residence for retired Texas firefighters in need. “This is exactly what Service Above Self looks like in action,” a club spokesperson said in a June 12 post on the service organization’s Facebook page.
