Royal ECC was selected by the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE) as a Demonstration School at the Annual TABSE Conference — a recognition awarded to high-performing campuses across the state, Royal ISD announced on its Facebook page on February 27.
Principal Natacha Miller, Mrs. Castorena, Mrs. Sharpe, and Ms. Garfield presented on “Thriving Campus Culture,” highlighting the systems, leadership, and commitment to student success that define Royal ECC, the post said.
The Dr. Jay Cummings Demonstration Schools Collaborative brings together outstanding K–12 campuses to share best practices and model effective school leadership.
“Royal ECC’s selection reflects the strong culture, instructional focus, and student-centered approach that make the campus a leader among high-performing schools in Texas,” the district said in the post. “We are proud of our Royal ECC team for representing Royal ISD with excellence.”
