The Royal High School National Honor Society will host the ninth annual Marie D. Pattison Memorial Dinner & Auction on Saturday, March 22, at the Pattison Volunteer Fire Department, 2950 FM 359 in Pattison. Tickets for the BBQ dinner are $15.00 at the door and all proceeds support scholarships for RISD NHS seniors. The dinner is from 5 to 6 p.m., with the auction afterwards.

“This event is a tribute to Mrs. Pattison’s legacy as an educator and community leader,” said Gabriel Velasquez, Royal NHS Chapter President in an email to the Katy Times. “The memorial dinner and auction celebrates her dedication to education, service and community, ensuring that her legacy lives on.”
