Every recruiting cycle, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football names five five-star prospects and 45 four-star prospects to form the Top 50 players in Texas. The renowned Bible of Texas high school football has also named 150 prospects that their staff believe can compete for those spots in the Class of 2028.
Two Katy-area football players have been selected in the elite group of 150 sophomores:
· Tucker Hess (6’1”, 285), defensive tackle, Katy Jordan High School
· Mike Brown (5’8”, 160), wide receiver, Fulshear High School
“Our staff has spent extensive time evaluating film and building the initial board, and additional prosects will be evaluated and added as we move toward National Signing Day in 2028,” the publication said. “The early makeup of the class stands out at wide receiver where 32 prospects have emerged.”
Fourteen defensive tackles were chosen.
