As mosquito season approaches, Harris County Precinct 4 is taking proactive measures to protect public health by reducing mosquito breeding through neighborhood-level prevention efforts. Precinct 4 crews are shown at 702 Ellingham Drive in Katy on April 15, actively repairing potholes in areas prone to standing water, improving drainage. Crews also removed illegally dumped tires – key sources of mosquito activity – in the Katy area.
