With this year's western-inspired theme, "Stand Tall, Y'all," Katy Pride invites the entire community to come out to Bear Creek Rodeo Arena on October 3 to enjoy a day of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, local vendors, food, and community connection in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Admission and on-site parking are free, and the event will take place rain or shine.

The celebration will feature performances throughout the day from acclaimed indie-folk artist Olive Klug, along with Sweet Petunia, Sarah Golden, and crowd favorite DJ Crazy V, who will keep the celebration going all afternoon.

Families can enjoy an expanded ikds zone featuring a petting zoo, inflatables, interactive games, face painting, and other activities designed for children of all ages. Guests can also explore local community vendors, enjoy a variety of food trucks, and purchase beer and wine during the event.

"We're incredibly excited to welcome the community back for our biggest celebration yet," said Kristina Shackelford, director of Pride Celebration for Katy Pride LGBTQ+ Inc. "Every year, our goal is to create a space where everyone feels welcomed, celebrated, and connected. This year's event reflects the incredible growth of our organization and the support we've received from our community."

Katy Pride extends its sincere appreciation to Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones and her staff for once again providing a space where the community can gather to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging, Shackelford said.
