Burger Bodega, the Houston-born smashburger concept known for its New York bodega-inspired atmosphere, announces the grand opening of its highly anticipated Katy, Texas location on Saturday, September 19 at 11 a.m. at 21904 Franz Rd. in Katy. Marking the first-ever expansion of Burger Bodega, the new location signals the growth of Katy’s culinary scene and chef-owner Abbas Dhanani’s excitement to contribute to its thriving potential.

The Katy location seats just over 100 guests and includes a patio for outdoor dining. While there is no drive-through, guests can grab orders to go through a dedicated pickup and curbside window. The menu mirrors the original Washington Avenue location, serving up the same smashburgers, chopped cheese sandwiches, and milkshakes, though specials may vary by location.

Since opening its original Washington Avenue location in 2022, Burger Bodega has become one of Houston's most decorated burger destinations. The restaurant earned an A-plus review from former Houston Chronicle restaurant critic Alison Cook, a spot on Houston Chronicle's 10 Best New Restaurants of 2022, and a place on The Infatuation's 12 Best Burgers in America list.
