David Hicks Sr. was named to one of the most prestigious lists for high school coaches in the state, being named to Dave Campbell’s 40-under-40 list, which highlights some of the best young coaches around the state under the age of 40. more
A duo of Cinco Ranch Cougars and one Katy Tiger were named to this year’s Texas High School Coaches Association Class 6A Super Elite Team, with Brock DeYoung and Lucas Franco from Cinco Ranch and Connor Udland from Katy getting the nod and being named to the team after exceptional seasons. more

Katy ISD named it’s Student-Athletes of the Year this week and after terrific year’s there were co-winners on the boys side, with Seven Lakes’ Aidan Morrison and Tompkins’ Jayden Keys taking home the honors, while Katy’s Cameryn Harrison was named the female student-athlete of the year.  more
Cameryn Harrison and Ashtyn Reichardt were named first team all-state, while Montgomery Henderson was named to the third team and Ella-Kate Smith was named an honorable mention on the team. more

Three volleyball players from Katy ISD competed in last weeks Class 5A-6A TGCA All-Star Volleyball Game, representing District 19-6A and Katy ISD after a strong year for the school district. more

Cinco Ranch and Tompkins competed in pool play of the Division I State 7-on-7 Tournament on Friday, playing for a chance to advance to the championship bracket in College station against strong competition. more
Royal competed in the state 7-on-7 Division II bracket on Thursday and, competing in Pool B of the Division II bracket in College Station on Thursday before competing in Friday’s Championship bracket for a chance at a state championship. more
Two Katy ISD student athletes were named MVPs of the Class 6A Track and Field Super Elite Teams, with Tompkins Jayden Keys being named the boys MVP and London Jackson-Bray being named the MVP of the girls team. more
Cinco Ranch and Tompkins both qualified early in the process and used the rest of qualifying to improve, with both having strong performances throughout. Royal qualified during one of the last tournaments of the season with a strong showing at the Hardin-Jefferson State Qualifying Tournament. more
Jace LaViolette and Texas A&M had a historic season this year, producing the Aggies best ever season and coming up just two runs short of a college world series title in the Tompkins graduate’s sophomore season. more

Seven Lakes achieved its highest ever finish in the UIL Lone Star Cup and the highest ever finish of any school in Katy ISD history, finishing second in all of Class 6A with 93 points gained during the 2023-24 school year. more
