This year, Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) is gathering at the table in a brand-new way -- stepping away from its traditional evening gala to host its first annual “KCM Harvest of Hope Fundraising Luncheon.” Area residents are invited to join with the nonprofit on Thursday, October 8 from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m. at The Grand Upper Room, 23161 Morton Ranch Rd., in Katy.
“This special event is dedicated to sharing the profound impact of our programs and raising the critical funds necessary to support neighbors facing financial hardship, food insecurity, and domestic abuse across Katy and West Houston,” said KCM Executive Director Kyle Strickland in the August 14 announcement. “We will share a wonderful meal together, featuring appetizers, a main course, dessert, and a coffee bar. Throughout our time together, you will hear inspiring stories of restored hope and enjoy great fellowship with raffles and games. During the luncheon, our lunch sponsor, Memorial Hermann, will share a few words regarding the vital relationship between their healthcare mission and the daily work of KCM.”
Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased at https://ktcm.org/event/kcm-harvest-of-hope-luncheon/. Early bird pricing on tickets expires September 8.
Located at 3506 Porter Road in Katy, Katy Christian Ministries (KCM), has been fighting poverty, food insecurity, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and trafficking since 1984, after its founding by a group of area churches.
