The Johnny Nelson Katy Heritage Museum will be giving out pocket-sized copies of the United States Constitution to the first 100 visitors this week, to celebrate National Constitution Week and the 239th anniversary of the signing of our nation's guiding document in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787.
The museum will also have a special exhibit of printed copies of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights, made from high resolution scans from the United States National Archives.
The museum is located at 6002 George Bush Drive in Katy and is open Thursday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
