Baseball is back!

Opening Day Ceremony for Katy National Little League, taking place on March 22 at 9 a.m. at the Katy National Little League Fields, 24927 Morton Ranch Road in Katy.

“This year’s event is particularly special as it marks the first time we will gather for this celebration since 2019, prior to the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Macy Walker, in an email to the Katy Times.

Registration starts at 9 a.m., followed by a parade at 9:30 a.m. Games will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Games, pictures, raffles and other activities will also be featured, according to the group’s website.

A turnout of up to 1,000 attendees, including players, families, coaches, and community supporters is anticipated. The ceremony will feature exciting activities, including team parades, special recognitions, and community speeches, highlighting the resilience and spirit of our young athletes and their families.
