Consuela, the vibrant Texas- and Mexico-based fashion and lifestyle brand known for its bold, handcrafted designs, is expanding to the Greater Houston area with a brand-new flagship store at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd B-150 in Katy. Bringing their signature mix of artistry, craftsmanship, and celebration, the brand celebrated with a grand opening was on March 27 followed by a ribbon cutting on March 28.
The new 4,157-square-foot store is a colorful fusion of artisan craftsmanship, unexpected textures, and a celebration of individuality. Embodying Consuela’s philosophy, “The Art of the Unmatched™,” the store features a striking pink tile exterior, custom iron fixtures, handcrafted wooden display tables, and elements sourced from master artisans in Mexico. The Consuela - Katy, store location will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m.
The Katy store highlights a significant milestone in Consuela’s evolution into an immersive
lifestyle brand, soon expanding beyond handbags and accessories. “This location holds a special place in my heart as I grew up just outside of Houston,” said Conni Reed, Founder and CEO of Consuela. “As we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year, we reflect on the love, support and partnerships we have nurtured with our spirited customer communities, retailers, artisans and team members who have stood by our side in our purposeful mission to ‘Make Today Ridiculously Awesome’.” The name Consuela is derived from the verb ‘consolar,’ meaning to console, comfort and uplift.

recognized brand. It now has a presence in over 1,200 independent accounts, a thriving e-
