Country superstars Sawyer Brown Band have been announced at the headliner for the 2025 Rice Harvest Festival hosted by the City of Katy.
The beloved festival returns to Katy’s downtown square at Second Street and Avenue C on October 11 and 12, 2025.
“The excitement is building for the 44th Annual Katy Rice Harvest Festival, and this year’s celebration promises to be bigger and better than ever,” said a June 17 press release from the city. “Headlining Saturday night is the legendary Sawyer Brown Band, bringing their high-energy country-rock performance to Downtown Katy for an unforgettable show.”
With over 40 years of hits, 51 charted singles, and multiple CMA, ACM, and CMT awards, Sawyer Brown has earned their place as one of country music’s most enduring and beloved acts. Festival attendees will enjoy their signature hits, including the classic “Some Girls Do,” in a live performance packed with energy and heart.
In addition to the headline concert, the festival welcomes back the much-loved carnival, operated by MacGregor Entertainment. After taking a year off to find the perfect partner, organizers are proud to bring a top-quality carnival experience complete with rides and games for all ages.
New this year are the AgVenture Area, featuring a large petting zoo, pony rides, and interactive exhibits celebrating Katy’s rich history in rice farming, and the Sports Zone, where fans can catch all the big college and professional football games live throughout the weekend.
Tickets are on sale now at katyriceharvestfestival.com. for the festival remain affordable at just $10 for adults, with children 12 and under admitted free. Carnival unlimited rides and games can be purchased for $30 for one day or $50 for the entire weekend.
All proceeds from the festival go directly to community grants and scholarships through a partnership with the Rotary Club of Katy, supporting local initiatives and students.
