H-E-B Wellness Primary Care Clinic to open in Katy

Texas’ largest food retailer is offering comprehensive wellness and nutrition services to its Houston-area H-E-B customers and their families in Katy and Cypress.

The Katy location will be at 6711 South Fry Road. The Cypress location will be at 24224 Northwest Freeway). These new clinics bring H-E-B’s Wellness Primary Care Clinic count to three in Houston, with a current location at Bunker Hill Road. Two more are set to open later this month in Spring and far northwest Houston.

H-E-B Wellness Primary Care Clinics offer a suite of solutions focused on helping customers stay healthy as well as managing illnesses through a food as medicine approach. Each location is conveniently located in the same shopping center as an H-E-B storefront for easy access to pharmacy and nutrition coaching platforms.

“This offering is simply incredible,” Lisa Helfman, H-E-B Houston senior public affairs director, said. “For over a decade, H-E-B has offered high quality primary care services to its own partners (employees) and their families. Now we have the ability to provide a one-stop wellness destination for our customers with clinical primary care, nutrition services, and pharmacy services in addition to access to nutritious food—a combination that is critical to create a full continuum of care unlike anything else that exists in healthcare today.”

With locations also in Austin and San Antonio, H-E-B Wellness Primary Care offers full-service primary care for all individuals aged 12 and up operating in coordination with registered dietitians with a food first philosophy rooted in science. In addition to primary care, services will include physical therapy, health/nutrition coaching, clinical pharmacists, specialty referrals, and labs to create a coordinated approach to healthcare. These clinics are staffed by board-certified physicians, nurses, and other licensed medical professionals. H-E-B is rapidly expanding throughout Texas with both primary care and nutrition services over the next few years.

The clinics provide high quality, patient-centered care with affordable individual visit pricing and the option of monthly subscriptions, removing the frustration of surprise medical billing and enabling clinicians to focus on each patient, taking the time that is necessary to support them on their wellness journey. The clinics accept cash, credit, and Flexible Spending Account payments.
