Jordan’s season came to an end in the regional quarterfinals on Tuesday, as the Warriors lost 39-38 to Bellaire in a game that came down to the final seconds.

It was the second straight season where the Warriors advanced to the third round and they played a very good game against a strong team. Bellaire jumped out to a 15-9 lead after one quarter, but Jordan trimmed that deficit to 21-18 at half. The Warriors tied tings up early in the third, but Bellaire went back ahead 32-27 at the end of the third quarter.

Bellaire led by six with 4:29 left in the game but Jordan scored five straight points to make it a one point game. After Bellaire made free throws to make it a 3-point game, Jaden Holt got fouled on a three-point attempt, Holt went to the line and hit two of three attempts, trimming the deficit to one. The Warriors had a final chance with 1.8 seconds left and down by one point, but Jordan’s inbound pass was stolen, and Bellaire was able to run out the final second as the Warriors ran out of time.

Jaden Holt led Jordan with 16 points, while Rayan Fadika had 15 points, Jude Oluodun had four points, Jonah Folse had three points and both Elijah Black and Landon Kjar had two points a piece.

Jordan ended the season with a 29-9 record and had a strong playoffs where they beat second seeded Fort Bend Elkins and district winner Cy-Fair.
