Maria Cecilia Ramirez
Maria Cecilia Ramirez was born on February 8, 1954, in Celaya Guanajuato, Mexico to Benito Zarate Tovar and Maria Sierra Garcia. She married Luis Ramirez in 1978 and moved to Katy, Tx. where they lived for the past 35 years.
Maria was locally and lovingly known as Doña Ceci by all her neighbors, family, and friends. She was a devoted mother who loved to help and volunteer at her children's schools and church events. She was a devout catholic who attended St. Bartholomew catholic church, where she was a member for the past 35 years.
She loved to visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science, with her children and grandchildren of which she was also a member. She enjoyed taking day trips to explore new places and spending time in her garden. Maria loved watching novellas, movies, and reality tv shows. Her delicious home cooked meals will be missed by many.
She cherished her friendships and made sure to keep in touch with those she loved. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making clothes. She was a cherished wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to many.
We are grateful for the time we had together, filled with laughter and joy. Her great sense of humor, and warm smile will forever be cherished. Her loss leaves a void that can never be filled.
