Sandra ‘Sandy’ Gale Faucett

Sandra 'Sandy' Gale Faucett was born on April 7, 1949, in Lubbock, Texas. She grew up in Brownfield, Texas and attended Texas Tech University before she met and married Leon ‘Dean’ Faucett, Jr. on May 5, 1976. Sandy and Dean settled in Katy in 1979 where they lived and raised their family.
Sandy is survived by her children, Michelle Faucett of Katy, Trey Faucett of Katy, Chad Faucett and daughter-in-law Mary Faucett of Fulshear; her grandchildren, Wesley Faucett and Audra Faucett; brothers, Ralph Bayless of California and Mike Bayless of Lubbock and numerous other relatives.
Sandy was passionate about serving the Lord with all her heart and found success as a CEO of Katy Christian Ministries where she touched countless lives. She was known for her larger-than-life personality and lit up every room she walked into. Sandy was active in her church's recovery and women's ministries where she served and selflessly gave to anyone who needed a helping hand.
Sandy was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother, affectionately referred to as ‘Honey’ in her later years. Her love, joy and legacy will live on through her family.
Sandy peacefully passed away on March 8, 2024, in Katy, Texas at 74 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, and her parents, James William Bayles and Venita Gale Fenton.
A memorial service will be at held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Parkway Fellowship with Rev. Mike McGowan officiating.
